Hotel Encanto is searching for a reliable, responsible individual to fill the Sous Chef position.  Position requirements include, at least 1 year experience as a Sous Chef at our beautiful resort style hotel.  Ability to communicate and interact with guests, associates and other members of management.  Experience in creative thinking, energy and passion resulting in establishing an exciting social venue. Responsibilities include Assisting in maintaining a quality of food that exceeds customer expectations, Assist with the coordination, supervision and the direction of all aspects of the hotel's food production. Assisting in maintaining a highly profitable F&B operation while delivering high-quality and unique products.  Assist in ensuring operational standards are maintained including preparation techniques and health department rules and regulations. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.  Assist in developing employees by coaching them in cooking and service techniques as well as mentoring employees for career development within Heritage Hotels & Resorts. Assist in estimating food consumption and requisitions.  Assist in receiving and examining food and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet standards and specifications.  Assist in developing costs and pricing menu items and assisting in maintaining time and payroll records.  Our company has 11 properties which offers you an opportunity to advance/grow with us.
