Director of Sales

We are a looking for a successful, results driven, Director of Sales for our beautiful, award winning property! A summary job description follows:
- The Director of Sales is required to sell the hotel as a meeting location to local and national meeting planners including: sleeping rooms, meeting space, audio visual and food/beverage. The Director of Sales monitors budget, forecasting revenue and leads the team to achieve goals. The Director of Sales is responsible for managing the revenue of the hotel specifically rooms & banquet/catering. In this role, you will be an integral member of the leadership team, working with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive hotel results. You will direct the efforts of all Sales & Catering staff to help accomplish and/or exceed approved revenue budgets and goals for the Hotel.
- To be successful in this role, the appropriate candidate must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Director of Sales in a full-service Hotel and/or experience in direct sales in the hospitality industry. In addition, the candidate must have excellent leadership and communication skills.
